1. Who we are and what this covers
Kampung Maghrib is a survivor-style action game for Android and iOS published by Wumboos House (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can control or delete it.
It applies to the Kampung Maghrib app (package com.wumboos.kampungmaghrib) and to this page. It does not cover Google Play, the App Store, or the advertising network that serve the game under their own policies.
2. What the game stores on your device
- Progress — gold, unlocks, warisan upgrades, run history and the current run.
- Settings — audio, haptics, language and accessibility choices.
- A local install id — a random value generated on the device, used to tie a crash report to a session. It is not an advertising id and is not shared with anyone.
- Crash log — the last phase the game was in and the text of any script error, kept so we can fix what broke.
All of it sits in the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app deletes it. Settings → Delete local data deletes it without uninstalling.
3. What is sent off the device
- Gameplay events — session start and end, run results, level-ups, ad impressions and purchases. We use them to decide what to fix next; they are tied to the local install id, never to a person.
- Crash diagnostics — the last phase the app was in, how long the session ran, and the text of any script error. Never a screenshot and never the contents of your save.
- Purchase receipts — handled by Google Play or the App Store; we receive only what the store confirms, never your card details.
No account, name, email address, advertising id, or location is sent with any of it.
4. What is never collected
Contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, precise location, health data, and any identifier that could be used to track you across other apps or sites.
5. Ads
Ads are optional. A rewarded ad plays only when you tap a reward button, and it pays out only after you watch it. Interstitials never appear in your first session, never mid-run and never between level-ups. The advertising network receives what its SDK needs to serve an ad (see the vendor's own policy); personalised ads are not requested until you consent, and buying Remove Interstitials removes the interstitial entirely.
6. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Your choices
- Turn ads off — buy Remove Interstitials, or simply never tap a reward button.
- Delete everything — Settings → Delete local data, or uninstall the app.
- Ask us — email privacy@wumboos.app for a copy or deletion of any data tied to your install id.
Gameplay events are kept only as long as they are needed to answer the product questions they were collected for, after which they are deleted or aggregated.
8. Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced in the game's store listing before they take effect, and this page carries the date of the current version.
